There are three ways for you to start the enrolment process at Porirua College.

Option 1: Enrol your child online by clicking on the link below:

Online Enrolment at PC

and then 'Start New Enrolment Application.'

You will then be contacted within 2 working days of receiving your notification to arrange an enrolment interview and advised what documentation to bring with you.

Option 2:  Collect an enrolment pack from the Porirua College school office.  There are also packs available at your child's primary or Intermediate school.

Fill in the enrolment form.

Along with your child, fill in both the 'Cyber Safety at Porirua College' form and the Porirua East Graduate Profile form.

Please provide a copy of your child's birth certificate.  If your child was not born in NZ, we also require a copy of their passport showing a current residency visa.

Please provide proof of residency within the home zone (e.g. a copy of either a gas, electricity or rates invoice for your home address).

You can put the enrolment form, internet agreement, copy of birth certificate or passport and proof of residency into the prepaid envelope and post it (you don't need a stamp) back to our school.  Alternatively, you can also bring this up to the school office.

Option 3:  Download a copy of 2022 Enrolment Form.  Bring the enrolment form to the school office with supporting documents.  The receptionist will arrange an enrolment interview time with you.

Supporting documents that require caregiver and/or student signature:

1. Porirua East Graduate Profile

Additional supporting documents to bring to the enrolment interview:

1. Birth Certificate or Passport (plus a residency visa if the student is not a New Zealand citizen)

2. Proof of living in school zone document/letter (e.g. telephone or power account).

The sooner we get your enrolment form, the better, so that we can plan for your child's learning.

Year 8 Transition Programme

During Term 4, new students will have the opportunity to visit Porirua College for one whole day and an afternoon.

They will learn the school song, as part of becoming a PC student and find out about junior option choices.

Year 8's will join in activities with current students and teachers, getting to know all the Houses.

Porirua College year 9 and 10 students will lead learning activities to share with year 8's.
